Sinn Fein leader Gerry "Patch" Adams has announced that Denis Donaldson has been dismissed from the party as he was, "A dirty rotten spy, and not the cool sort like James Bond, one of the crappy ones who always talks with a funny accent."

Donaldson was recently released after charges against him and two others were dropped as part of the Stormontgate affair, in which they were accused of trying to steal the gates from the front of Stormont to put on Gerry's drive way.  Sinn Fein have claimed from the start that it was a police conspiracy to ensure that his Vauxhall Corsa would never be properly secured and that the kids next door to him could keep on kicking their football into his yard.
