It used to be happy slapping and before that it was Westlife's records, but now it
seems the latest wave of crime to hit us is a spate of good old fashioned robberies.
Given that no one in the media seems to be compiling any sort of list of the world's greatest
robberies, we've decided to compile the official* list of the greatest robberies in
history ever...
- £50 million Kent "heist".
- The Northern Bank robbery - the one where it stole money from its customers by charging extortionate transaction fees.
- Thatcher robbing children's milk.
- George W Bush stealing the 2000 US presidential election.
- Daniel O'Donnell once stole a kiss from a girl when his mammy wasn't looking.
- Tony Blair's theft of the Labour party.
- Rhona Martin stealing the nation's heart by winning curling gold, only to let us all down with a shameful display four years later, bitch.
- Phoenix Gas and their ongoing daylight robbery.
