Back To School
Hello boys and girls, mammies, daddies and grannies and welcome to a special Random
Shite edition of School Around the Corner with Frank "Bucky" Mitchell. This
week we're at a very special school. A school that the boys and girls only
go to once every few years. Yes we're at Stormont Special School.
On the first day back, the word in the schoolyard is that Peter Robinson and Ian
Jr. were making fun of Dodds because Diane wouldn't let him play on the grass at
lunch time in case he wrecked his new shoes. Back to school can be tough on
the kids, wee Mark Durko got in a huff when he found out that while they had been
off on holidays the tuck shop had been replaced by a talking shop. And Reggie
Empty isn't very popular because he brought his new pup to school with him.
Wee
Eileen Bell was appointed class captain, but wasn't a very popular choice,
because her and her few friends have tended to just sit on the fence during play
time and are considered very boring. New pupil Kieran Deeny has told Frank
that he was only there for one subject, which made everyone laugh because they all
knew it was on last year's syllabus, not the new one. Silly Kieran.
Frank interviewed young Gerry from P7 and while stroking his beard he complemented
him on the fact he had never seen such a lovely beard on a child. He followed
up by asking him if he knew anything about £26.50 that had gone
missing from the canteen. Gerry then showed him his new lunch box his mammy
had got him with a picture of an armalite on it.
Headmaster
Peter Hain pulled up outside Stormont for his first day back with
his now famous political caravan in tow. However tragedy befell it when
naughty Paul Berry from P5 snuck inside to smoke a fag during lunch break.
The incident made the headmaster go bright orange with rage and he shouted at
everyone to get on with their work or he'll make sure they all get no more
pocket money.
If you're listening Pete, next time they don't behave,
don't suspend them - give them detention!
